Powerful software
The Arguscope comes with an easy-to-use operator interface that allows to set up even complex scanning protocols within minutes.
Different recording options (e.g. time-lapse, Z-stacks, mosaics, channels, ...) can be selected from the list and combined into a unique and personalized scanning protocol that handles even the most complex scanning tasks. The video recording tool (optional) even allows for the recording of real-time videos!
The automated Z-focus ('auto focus') assures unparalleled image quality for tilted objects or objects with varying height. Even when the surface within one image is too rough to be totally in-focus, the 'extended focus' algorithm assembles the correct image from an image Z-stack.
Image stitching and enhancement
Your sample is too large to be visualized in one image?
No problem at all: XY-stitching of individual image fields into mosaics enables imaging of large areas while maintaining the high resolution details that you are interested in. Moreover, you can correct for uneven illumination and color shifts (see example image below).
